ARTENSO seeks to promote general interest in research and innovation in the arts and in the challenges inherent to the field. To promote great social engagement, its main mission is to increase public access to the arts and stimulate the cultural participation of citizens through cultural mediation.
ARTENSO offers its expertise in research, training and advisory services to organizations from all sectors wishing to initiate creation or intervention projects in cultural mediation. The centre supports organizations that wish to better define, understand, adapt and enhance the cultural actions they carry out. ARTENSO distinguishes itself by its transversal vision, which links cultural mediation, open innovation and digital literacy. The centre is strongly anchored in its ecosystem, which is made up of university research groups, municipal authorities, socioeconomic organizations and communities of practice.
