Our mission is to conduct applied research, design and integrate state-of-the-art technologies applied to vehicles in order to help companies and organizations innovate, while aiming for positive economic and social benefits.

The Institut du véhicule innovant (IVI) has a solid expertise in electric, autonomous and connected vehicles. Its team is made up of various specialists who bring a unique synergy that increases the capacity of companies and organizations to innovate. The centre is known for the quality of its services, since rigour, integrity and professionalism are at the heart of their projects. The IVI laboratory is set apart by its unique combination of specialized equipment related to vehicles, making the IVI an indispensable resource in Québec.
