CNETE carries out applied research, technical support, training and information activities for companies in Québec in an effort to develop and improve environmentally friendly processes and products, using bioprocesses, membrane separation technology, electrochemistry, flue gas treatment and nanotechnology.

Thanks to a very broad level of expertise, the CNETE supports companies in seven areas related to environmental technologies:

These are transversal technologies that meet various industrial needs, such as, mineral processing, residual materials, renewable energy processes, agribusiness, water treatment and industrial solutions, biobased chemistry (as a substitute for petrochemicals) or pharmaceuticals.
